BlockShow will attract donations in crypto for the restoration of Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris

Flagship event in the blockchain area, BlockShow announced the start of fundraising to finance reconstruction of Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris, writes French publication.
Blockshow team posted two addresses for BTC and ETH donations on Twitter and a link to Foundations Du Patrimoine, which accepts fiat funds.
According to National Public Radio, several other non-profit international organizations attract funds for the same purposes, including GoFundMe and La Fondation Avenir du Patrimoine à Paris. According to its information, they have already managed to attract several hundred million dollars with support of the richest citizens of France, including the family Bettencourt-Meyers, Bernard Arnault and Francois Pinault.
On April 15, 2019, the cathedral, which is one of the symbols of French capital, was engulfed in a fire that destroyed most of the building. As a result, the spire and roof collapsed, the wooden interiors of the building were destroyed.
In the past, donations in cryptoassets were collected by various non-profit organizations and charitable initiatives, including Wikipedia, UNICEF, the Internet Archive and Wikileaks. In 2017, the collection of donations in favor of earthquake victims in Mexico organized a cryptoexchange Bitso.
